Meet Todd the Treeman

Todd Baker has spent about two decades in the trees around Kansas City. He is a Certified Arborist, which means he reads a tree before he ever starts a cut, and he knows what a big oak or silver maple will do when the wind picks up. Neighbors just call him Todd the Treeman.

It is a family business. Todd and his crew handle the work in the yard, and his wife Ellen runs the office. When you call, Ellen is the one who answers, gets you on the schedule, and makes sure someone comes out to look at the job. That is why people say we are easy to reach and quick with a quote.

Tree Removal

We take down large, dead, and hazardous trees, including the tight ones leaning over the house, the fence, or the power line. We rope down what we cannot drop, and we haul off every limb and log so your yard looks better than when we pulled up.

Tree Trimming & Pruning

Good pruning keeps a tree healthy and keeps you safe. We thin heavy canopies, clear limbs off the roof, and shape trees so they hold up to the next Kansas storm. Todd is a Certified Arborist, so the cuts are made where the tree wants them.

Stump Grinding & Removal

Once a tree is gone, the stump is next. We grind stumps below grade so you can plant grass, lay sod, or just have your yard back. We clean up the grindings and leave the spot ready to fill.

Storm Recovery & Cleanup

When a limb comes through the roof or a tree drops across the drive, you need someone out fast. We clear fallen trees and hanging branches off homes and out of yards, then haul away the mess so you can move on.

Mulch

The wood we clear does not go to waste. We offer mulch to homeowners around the metro. Ask Ellen when you call and we will let you know what we have on hand.

He has a great crew that was efficient and capable of working at heights and removing large limbs over structure.
